Shaoxing Yellow Wine

  Shaoxing wine, a specialty of Shaoxing City, is a national geographical indication product of China. Shaoxing wine, also known as Shaoxing Yellow Wine, becomes stronger with the passage of time, so Shaoxing wine is called old wine, and the older it is, the more fragrant it is. According to historical records, Shaoxing winemaking was already very common during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period. Among the many types of wine in the country, Shaoxing Old Wine is one of the most award-winning varieties. On September 25, 2015, during President Xi Jinping's visit to the United States, Shaoxing rice wine was used on the menu of the White House state banquet.

Xianheng Zaoji

  "Zaoji" uses Yue chickens, which are said to have been raised in the Yue Palace more than 2,000 years ago for the emperor and his concubines to watch and play with. Later, they were introduced to the people for breeding, so they are also called Yue chickens. Yue chickens grow fast and weigh a lot. Adult castrated chickens can weigh up to 4 or 5 kilograms. The meat has a low fat content and is an excellent meat variety. This chicken is made with fermented rice wine, the meat is tender, the fermented rice wine is fragrant, and it is unique in style. It is a good winter delicacy.

Zhuji socks

  Zhuji socks industry has a long history. As early as the Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was mainly hand-knitted. In the 1950s, it began to transform to large-scale mechanized production, and the output increased rapidly. Today, Zhuji has become the world's largest socks production base, with an annual output of more than 25 billion pairs, accounting for about 70% of the country's total output. Especially in Datang Street, the annual socks output per square kilometer is as high as about 180 million pairs, making Zhuji a leader in China's socks industry.

Yueyao Celadon

  Yueyao Celadon is a famous celadon kiln in ancient southern China. It was produced from the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Song Dynasty, and the Tang Dynasty was the period when its craftsmanship was most exquisite. Yueyao Celadon is famous for its thin body, uniform glaze, and green and lustrous glaze color. In addition, the firing technique of Yueyao Celadon was included in the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage list in 2011. As one of the important birthplaces of Yueyao Celadon, Shangyu, with its unique regional culture and rich porcelain soil resources, provides unique conditions for the birth and development of Yueyao Celadon.

Chongren stewed duck

  Chongren stewed duck is a traditional famous dish in Shengzhou. It originated in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties. It was widely circulated in Shengzhou and other places during the reign of Emperor Gaozong Hongli. It has the effects of replenishing qi and nourishing yin, promoting diuresis and reducing swelling. Its meat is fragrant, soft and glutinous, and the soup is thick and mellow. When eating it, you can enjoy the deliciousness and gain health.

Xiao Jingsheng

  Xinchang peanuts (Xiao Jingsheng) were introduced from Beijing in the late Qing Dynasty. In the early Republic of China, they were famous at home and abroad. They are characterized by thin and shiny shells, fragrant and sweet, oily but not greasy, crisp and refreshing, and good color, aroma and taste. According to the test, the kernel contains 27% protein and 48% fat, and the nutritional value is higher than eggs and milk. On July 16, 2005, the former General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine approved the implementation of geographical indication product protection for "Xinchang Peanuts (Xiao Jingsheng)".
